Born Angry

Portrayed here is a my sister-in-law’s  great grandmother. Her life path was one of physical labor. With eleven children and no voice – ever – written on her face is her story. It was not filled with kindness.

This art glass lamp is rendered in powder materiel, without fluids. Her hair and mouth are in Fractured Cherry. Her face is dominated by Ski-Doo Yellow and Skiers Blue. Also displayed are daubs in Stone Black, Green Ice and eyelets of clear glass. Her profile floats in doodle strewn background of glittery Polaris Blue.
