Accent Lamps
At Schilling Glass® we create one-of-a-kind accent lamps. Powder glazes are applied to glass cylinders using an electrostatic charge. No fluids or paints are used. Each color is a separate glaze so each has its own trajectory. Each has to be heat-cured. As a new color is added, prior colors are protected with heat resistant tape.
Clear glass is the vital dimension in my pallet. Glass cylinders have no edges, so. Images transform and recombine.
Lighted with an LED in the base, each lamp projects a tapestry of colors, and shadows. Developed by myself, these techniques enable me to create totally unique multi-dimensional accent lamps.
